New Seekers' Song Guide: recordings featuring Lyn Paul |
Lyn Paul was a New Seeker from 1970-74. The New Seekers had released a début album before Lyn was a member of the group and most of the tracks for the follow-up were already "in the can" by the time she joined (these are marked with an asterisk *). Lyn did, however, record vocals for some of the tracks on the New Seekers' second album, Keith Potger & The New Seekers, and is pictured on the sleeve along with Peter Doyle and Paul Layton, who joined the group at the same time, Lyn, Peter and Paul recorded an additional track for the album, Albert Hammond's I'm A Train, but it wasn't until the release of the third album, Beautiful People, that they really became an integral part of the New Seekers' sound.
